Is there anything particular that is known for commonly, as can be expected, dropping monstrous eye's?

I've got two I think, all from low-level mobs (fire imps etc) in the immediate vicinity of Lions Arch. Don't know what else drops them. However, I'm curious - what do you want monstrous eyes for?

I think he means ancient eyes. Which can be acquired from wind riders. In the jungle area. My assumption is that he's after a collectors weapon or collectors armor.

I had a Monstrous Eye drop from a Tengu on the way to the Ettins

I used to get a lot from the OLD Tengu Elites

devourers in the great northern wall drop monstrous stuff, once i got a fang and 2 claws in a row!

IFAIK the can be randomly dropped from any monster in the game,they are not species specific.They are pretty rare and as of yet have no use(maybe they will soon)

I get a lot of monstrous crap from the fire imps right outside of Lion's Arch. And every few minutes or so I always get a Ruby. No Sapphires there though...
